STAR Children Speak Out
The man I want to be is a successful man. I want to be a man that wants to help people. I want to have a good career. I also want to be the man that everybody talks about, in a positive way. I want to someday be the person a kid looks at and says, I want to be like A_______.
I feel that you’re helping me set my goals in life and I thank you for that. I don’t want to lose a great opportunity. I really want to go to Saint Thomas Prep and succeed and make everyone proud of me. I want to have that opportunity to experience, to interact with young men and meet new people. You’re giving me that.
I don’t want you to change your mind. I know I can make you proud. I want to be a leader instead of a follower. I know I made a mistake but I’ve learned a valuable lesson.
The lesson I’ve learned is that even though you are playing the person may not like it. When the person in authority says stop or don’t do it again you are supposed to listen. You’re also suppose to respect an adult.
The only thing I have to say is please give me one more chance and I won’t let you down. I love you. I hope you forgive me.
